I drove my Golf for 3 great years,
I loved to drive it through the gears.
Whether rain or snow it got me home,
without a flash, or bits of chrome.
A basic car, that was all I needed,
cleaned and washed was how it was treated.
Without a cause, it went up in smoke,
I saw it go, and with it my heart broke.
Time for a new car, to remove the sting,
let's hope the next one doesn't do the same thing!

Touching story, hard to read
Indeed sad to lose a good steed
I once had a Jetta Wagon
I enjoyed it, and set to bragging
It was less than reliable though
But not bad in the snow
And at least the situation was not as dire
The damn thing never caught on fire

Insurance so far has not been a problem. Because of the unusual circumstances, Volkswagen Canada also wants to take a look so I'm hoping they can do something extra for me.
